The Sage Partner Cloud for Sage Construction and Real Estate solutions has been released. With so much interest in cloud solutions, this program is designed to help streamline the move from a local server client setup to a hosted solution. While there are exciting true cloud web-based solutions available for construction businesses, there sometimes reasons for some construction and real estate businesses to keep their current solutions who aren’t ready for 100% cloud.
New customers and most existing Sage Construction users can take advantage of the Sage Partner Cloud.
How it Works for Existing Customers with Perpetual Licenses
There are a few pieces that make up the partner cloud for Sage 300 CRE and Sage 100 Contractor.
- Software Subscription

- Your perpetual Sage Construction licenses are converted to a subscription that includes Gold Plus Business Care support from Sage. There are a number of benefits with the Gold Plus plan and apply to both Sage 100 Contractor and Sage 300 CRE customers.
- Modules and add-ons that currently apply are the core modules and MyAssistant, along with most existing Sage Construction subscription add-ons.
- Application Hosting with a Sage Partner Cloud for Construction Partner

- You agree to have your software hosted by an approved 3rd party hosting provider. Alliance Solutions Group customers are billed for hosting fees directly by the hosting provider.
- The software edition is exactly what customers have been using. It is not a web-based edition.
- The hosting provider manages the Microsoft server platform, backups, and server security.
- Customers still maintain control of the Sage software applications and Sage updates.
- Migration to the Hosted Server

- You can work with anyone you want on software installation and data migration. Some customers handle it themselves, others work their IT company, or you can have a certified consultant manage the migration of your data as a billable engagement.
