Sage Service Operations for Sage 100 Contractor adds Change Orders and More!

Several exciting enhancements including Change Orders and RFIs have been added to the recently released Sage Service Operations Version for Sage 100 Contractor.  These features round out the offering and make Sage Service Operations a perfect fit for almost any contractor that needs a simple way to track time and activities in the field and communicate changes to the job.  The following features are now available to support Construction Project Teams.

What's new for Construction Project Mobility :

  • Change Orders – Create a change order from the field saving time and increasing productivity
  • Daily Field Reports - Eliminate paper forms and allow your superintendents to track daily job activity.
  • Request for Information – Request information from the job site so work can proceed without long delays
  • Payroll Time Entry - Simple Time Entry or optional punch in and out
  • Request for Proposal - Generate Simple Request for Proposals when needed
  • Sketch Tool – Markup site photos to quickly document site conditions.
  • Resource Planner - Schedule resources (employees, vendors, and subcontractors) for construction jobs.

Change Orders, RFI’s, RFPs, and DFRs are all automatically available for all Customers.

Sage Service Operations 6.4 Released

What's new in Sage Service Operations 6.4?
  • Job assignments: Project managers can quickly identify available resources and schedule construction jobs.
  • Construction job time entry: Flexible job time entry from the assignments page that can be a simple entry where the user specifies the number of hours worked and cost code or an easy to use clock in and out system that can track travel time, breaks, and lunches.
  • Time entry review / approval feature: Supervisors, project managers, and payroll administrators can seamlessly review and approve payroll time in one area for work order, job, and miscellaneous time entry.
  • Dashboard: Service manager/controller charts, and metric views are available on the dashboard.
Note: There is no download or install requirements. These changes will be available the next time you log into Sage Service Operations.  This version of Sage Service Operations is compatible with the currently supported versions of Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate.
